Santa Claus (born as Kris Kringles) is the husband of Mrs. Claus and a supporting character in the 1964 Rankin/Bass TV film, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and it's sequels, Rudolph's Shiny New Year (1976), Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July (1979) and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Island Of Misfit Toys (2004).
He also serves as the protagonist of the film's two prequels Santa Claus Is Comin To Town and The Year Without A Santa Claus.
