Rudolph and Hermey are two characters who become best friends.
Plot[]
The duo first met when Hermey appeared out of a snowbank, and together, they sang the song, We're a Couple of Misfits, but then they hear the roar of the Bumble and hid in another snowbank then a prospector arrives with his sled dogs and finds the duo, pulls them out of the snowbank, and introduces himself as Yukon Cornelius who says he is searching for silver and gold and Sam sings a song all about it. After that they hear the Bumble roar loudly again so the Yukon floats away with the duo while the Bumble fell into the water. Then they happen upon The Island of Misfit Toys where a toy Jack in the Box. Who introduces himself as Charlie in the box who says he had to come over to the island due to him being named "Charlie instead of " Jack" and the toys sing a song about how wonderful Christmas is Charlie tells them about Moonracer. Then they come to a lion named King Moonracer and then when Rudolph sets off to find his parents when Santa Claus (Rankin/Bass) said that they along with Rudolph's girlfriend Clarice had went off looking for him leaving Hermey and Yukon behind. Then when Rudolph was fighting the Bumble. Hermey along with Yukon came and Hermey knocks the Bumble out after the latter knocks Rudolph out after that Hermey extracts the former's teeth by distracting him with pig noises. Yukon along with his sled dogs try to get rid of the Bumble but Yukon, his sled dogs, and the Bumble fell off the cliff. Rudolph and his friends mourned the loss of their friend. But Yukon, the sled dogs, and the Bumble survived the fall. The friends at first thought that the Bumble was still trying to eat them. But having been reformed by Yukon. And giving a duty to tame a christmas tree. And put a star on top of it. They are also seen at the end of the film.
