Leonard is a polar bear, one of the tritagonists of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Movie, and is one of Rudolph's best friends.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie

Leonard is first seen being tricked by Slyly into leaving his home so he and Rudolph can stay there. Leonard returns angry but let's them stay after Rudolph apologises.

He is later seen going with Rudolph to Stormella's fortress to rescue Zoey. He shows Rudolph a secret entrance into the castle through the catacombs, but when they reach the ice dungeons, Leonard along with Rudolph is imprisoned by Stormella, who declares that she will cast a storm to put Santa Claus out of business, due to Zoey crossing her off-limits bridge.

They are later freed by Slyly, who had sneaked into Stormella's room and took her keys. After being freed the group, now joined by Zoey, begin to leave but are confronted by Stormella. Rudolph's glowing nose causes her to fall off a cliff, and Leonard and the others help her up and witness her become good. The group are then found by Boone and Doggle (who were sent out by Santa to find Rudolph and Zoey), who take them back to Santa's Village. Later, Leonard is seen wishing Rudolph good luck on guiding Santa's sleigh through Stormella's storm.

Leonard is then seen on Christmas Day with Slyly finding presents for them from Rudolph. Leonard gets Rudolph's scarf whilst Slyly gets Rudolph's teddy bear. Leonard, along with Slyly and the other villagers, joins in with singing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".
